I’ll be presenting at the ORPHEUS 2025 Conference: „Adapting Academia: Navigating PhD Programs Amidst World Crises and Changes,” hosted by the University of Zagreb. My presentation, titled „The Role of Health Development Offices in PhD Training and Navigating Crises in Translational Research,” will explore how Health Development Offices (HDOs) play a crucial role in addressing and resolving various crises faced by doctoral students.
I will discuss how nationwide collaboration among these offices can provide practical solutions in methodological, ethical, resource-related, and mental health challenges within PhD programs. Additionally, I will share insights from geospatial analyses on the placement of HDOs across Hungary, highlighting their potential for fostering impactful translational research and effective crisis management in academia.
Looking forward to meaningful discussions and collaborative opportunities!
