I will present my research at the ISPOR 2026 Annual International Meeting in Philadelphia, USA. The study examines the economic and geospatial implications of Health Development Offices (HDOs) in Hungary, focusing on their potential impact on preventive healthcare outcomes and system-level costs.
The analysis applies a county-level budget impact model combined with probabilistic sensitivity analysis to estimate the potential economic effects of HDO services. The model integrates epidemiological data, intervention effectiveness, adherence, and spatial access to healthcare services.
Results suggest a high probability of positive net budget impact, indicating that improving access to preventive services may contribute to cost savings at the healthcare system level.
The findings highlight the importance of integrating spatial accessibility and economic evaluation in health policy decision-making, particularly in the context of preventive care.
